WHICH ONE IS RIGHT FOR ME?

There are so many different types of mats available that it is difficult to know which to choose. Most suppliers carry one type of mat and this leads many people to purchase mats only to find that they are not suitable for their own situation - some wear too quick, some spread and curl, some hold moisture and urine, others cannot be sealed or bonded.

Because Quattro supply almost every type of rubber matting available, this ensures that we can recommend the correct mat for the size of horse and the usage required.

HOLLOW MATS
Ideal for gateways outside walkways etc. Grass can grow through. Can also be used as lift up matting in many situations.
 

EVA MATS 15, 24, 34 & 50MM
Eva is a soft compound mat mainly used in cow cubicles. It is sold for stable floors but is does tend to spread and can curl. Eva is excellent for wall protection and is ideal for anti-cast & hock protection.
 

STANDARD RUBBER, RECYCLED AND GRANULAR MATS
Quattro stock a wide range of standard filled rubber, recycled and granular mats for which uses vary. These mats are lower in cost than the pure rubber and are the norm for mat suppliers in the UK. Some of these mats do have limitations and we would recommend that you ring us for our advice on the type most suitable for your own circumstances.
 
 
PURE RUBBER MATS
For long term wear and or horses 14hh and over we recommend the pure rubber mats. The mats are available in different profiles, sizes and thickness. This type of mat will withstand more wear than any alternative, many mats widely touted as been rubber are either of a granular, recycled or filled rubber origin, these types of mats each have their own inherent problems in stable situations whilst the quattromats are pure rubber, totally impervious and guaranteed for 10 years in all areas except for horsewalkers. Rubber mats can be bonded and the joints sealed.
